Dynamic Performance Evaluation of Ultra-High-Performance Concrete Bridge: Operational Modal Analysis Approach
Keywords:

This paper evaluates the dynamic response of the Ultrahigh-Performance Concrete (UHPC) railway bridge over a major highway. The modal properties of the bridge were identified through Operational Modal Analysis (OMA), specifically the Frequency Domain Decomposition (FDD), Enhanced Frequency Domain Decomposition (EFDD), and Stochastic Subspace Identification (SSI). The fundamental natural frequency was compared with the frequency limits specified in EN 1991-2 and was found to lie within the prescribed range. The Modal Assurance Criterion (MAC) values ranged from 0.9320 to 0.9995, indicating strong cross-method consistency among the identified mode shapes. These findings contribute to the growing body of research on the dynamic behaviour of UHPC railway bridges.
